Dr Vikram Udani
Dr Vikram Udani received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He went on to obtain his M.D. from the Stanford University School of Medicine. After graduating from Stanford, Dr. Udani completed his residency with the UCLA Department of Neurosurgery. As a resident, Dr. Udani obtained expertise in all aspects of cranial, spinal, and peripheral nerve surgery. His developed special interests in treatment of primary and metastatic brain tumors, cerebrovascular disorders including aneurysms, and minimally invasive spine surgery.
Dr. Udani is currently practicing with the Neurosurgical Medical Clinic of San Diego. He operates at the Sharp-affiliated hospitals (Sharp Memorial, Sharp Grossmont, and Sharp Chula Vista) and covers neurotrauma for Scripps Mercy. He is currently helping to develop a dedicated neuro-oncology program and will be serving as the Director of Neurosurgical Oncology for the Sharp Health System.

Sanjay Ghosh MD
Dr. Ghosh received a Regents Alumni Merit Scholarship to attend the University of Michigan Honors College. He went on to attend medical school at the University of Michigan where he was exposed to the field of neurosurgery, and later gained acceptance to the top rated neurosurgery residency program at the University of Southern California.
During his residency, Dr. Ghosh completed a fellowship in skull base surgery at the House Ear Clinic under the guidance of Drs. William Hitselberger and John Diaz Day. Due to his extensive training and expertise in skull base surgery, Dr. Ghosh was then recruited by the physicians of the Senta Clinic in San Diego to create the only multidisciplinary skull base surgery team in San Diego County. In 2007, Dr. Ghosh was named one of America’s Top Surgeons by the Consumers Research Council. Keeran Kumar MD
As a fellowship trained pain specialist, Keeran Kumar, MD treats painful conditions of the spine, musculoskeletal, and nervous systems. Dr. Kumar believes in a multidisciplinary approach, including pharmacological therapy, interventional procedures, physical therapy, exercise and acupuncture, to facilitate improved function and quality of life. He focuses on diagnostics with an emphasis on identifying and treating the underlying causes of pain. Minimally invasive pain solutions are offered, with referrals for orthopedic and/or neurosurgical consultation when medically necessary.

Monali Patel MD
Monali Patel, M.D. is a Neurologist part of the SENTA group in San Diego with further practice specialty at Paradise Valley Hospital & Alvarado Hospital. She is a general neurologist with a special interest in headache disorders, otoneurology, & gait and balance dysfunction.
Dr. Patel is one of a handful of neurologists in the United States specializing in vertigo and the treatment of BPPV utilizing 1 of the few Epley chairs in the world.
Dr. Patel has received many honors and distinctions, and was most recently selected as a Top Neurologist by the Leading Physicians of the World. A native of Chicago, she graduated with high honors and on the Dean’s List from the Illinois Institute of Technology. She obtained her medical degree from the Chicago Medical School, and was selected as the Student Dean. Thereafter she completed her internship in Internal Medicine & residency in Neurology at Temple University in Philadelphia. She completed her residency training as Chief Resident in Neurology in 2011, and has since been practicing in San Diego.
Monika Gupta MD
Monika A. Gupta, MD is a board certified member of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology as well as the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine. She graduated from the University of Miami with a B.S. in Biology, and completed her M.D. at the University of Florida College of Medicine in 2003. After a medical internship at Loma Linda University, she completed her Neurology Residency at University of California San Diego, and was given the honor of Chief Resident. She subsequently completed her neuromuscular fellowship at UCSD with subspecialty training in neuromuscular diseases, electromyography/nerve conduction studies, and botulinum toxin use.
After practicing in Kern County for 4.5 years, she relocated to San Diego with her husband, who is an Internal Medicine/Allergy & Immunology physician, and her two young daughters. She is now part of UCSD Department of Neurology as the Stroke and Neurology Medical Director at Temecula Valley Hospital. She owes much of her passion and interests in Neurology to her father who is also a neurologist in Florida.
